Analyst, Sustainability Assessment – Research and Development

What you’ll do…

• Support project development, data collection, analysis and creation of environmental impact assessments related to greenhouse gas emissions, environmental impact baseline studies, life-cycle analysis and environmental cost-benefit analysis for internal and external projects.
• Compile relevant data from primary and secondary sources.
• Complete statistical analysis, interpretation and report writing of environmental impact assessments.
• Interpret results with regard to their business sustainability relevance and devise actions, present findings to internal and external stakeholders.
• Support corporate accounting and reporting of ESG quantitative metrics.

• What we need from you…
• BSc or MSc with 2-3 years relevant experience in environmental sustainability, agricultural economics, or related field.
• Research and technical skills – demonstrated experience of working on one or more of the following areas:
  • Greenhouse gas estimation projects and carbon footprint reduction techniques/methods/tools.
  • Environmental baseline studies and developing KPIs related to environmental impact assessments.
  • Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) studies.
  • Environmental cost-benefit analysis (CBA).
  • Knowledge of relevant provincial and federal environmental legislation and policies will be considered an asset.
