Background

Developed by Agriculture and Agri-food Canada, this pear stood out in Vineland evaluations for its exceptional resistance to disease pressures that threaten the vitality of the fresh pear market.  Further testing showed that its sweet, citrusy taste was loved by consumers locking in its place for a branded variety launch.
