Developed by Agriculture and Agri-food Canada, Dewdrop is a promising Canadian pear, offering good taste and better disease resistance, with efforts underway to make it more accessible for both commercial orchards and home gardens across Canada.

  • Ripening date at Vineland, Ontario – September 25 (14 days after Bartlett)
  • Yellow fruit with a medium blush and elongated neck.
  • Skin is medium thickness and flesh is cream-white and juicy with excellent flavour
  • Medium to strong vigour, semi-upright habit; Full sun required for maximum red blush development.
