In July, we welcomed more than 80 guests, for our annual community open house, ‘What’s Growing On?’. This year’s them was all about trees, soil, and the science behind sustainability.

This year’s Canadian Greenhouse Conference, built around the theme of Harvesting Resilience, was a fantastic opportunity to connect with industry leaders, growers, and innovators from across  the horticultural sector.

At the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair on Saturday, November 8, we were honoured to receive the Government of Ontario’s 2025 Excellence in Agriculture Award for Research and Innovation, presented by Minister Trevor Jones.

At Vineland Research and Innovation Centre, innovation is cultivated by scientists like David Liscombe.  Through Dave’s curiosity about the hidden chemistry of plants, he has shaped a career at the intersection of discovery and practical impact.
