Entomopathogenic Fungus (Lecanicillium sp.)

Vineland is seeking a collaborator for licensing or research collaboration to develop, certify, produce, market and sell this new biological control agent in North America.

Background

Vineland has discovered a potential novel strain of the entomopathogenic fungus Lecanicillium sp. This fungal species, native to Canada, has never been commercialized.   Initial tests demonstrate efficacy against a variety of common pests and good potential for mass production. Additional applications, formulations and delivery methods will likely be discovered as research and product development progresses.
