Tania Humphrey, PhD
Tania Humphrey joined Vineland Research and Innovation Centre in 2008. As the Director of Strategic Planning and Research Management she works with key Vineland stakeholders, managing Vineland’s Growing Forward 2 contract with the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs, facilitating research strategy and priority-setting processes for the horticulture sector.
Within Vineland, Tania is responsible for designing and implementing internal processes to build a more cohesive management team and facilitate the flow of information through the organization. She facilitates research planning and oversees the development of grant proposals to maximize their success and ensure alignment with Vineland’s strategic direction.
Tania Humphrey has a PhD in Plant Biology from the University of Queensland, Australia and was previously a postdoctoral researcher with the University of Toronto and Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada.
